Eva, born on January 26, 1946, in Eufaula, Alabama, was the daughter of the late Willie and Fannie (White) Jackson. Growing up as one of fourteen children, her family eventually settled in the area, and Eva completed her education at Sodus Central High School. In 1964, she married her beloved husband, Marshall. For over two decades, Eva dedicated her time to working at Zahrndts Book Bindery in Rochester, retiring in 1990. Beyond her career, Eva found fulfillment in nurturing her family, providing daycare in her home, earning her the affectionate title of the "Neighborhood Mom" where all were welcome. Gardening was among her passions, tending to both flowers and vegetables with care. Her home reflected her meticulous nature, a trait she imparted to her children along with various other skills.

Eva will be remembered by her loving husband of sixty years, Marshall; her children, Wendolyn Jackson, Cynthia Wellborn, Ternitha (Jerome Portis) Wellborn and Camille Wellborn; fourteen grandchildren, Katrice, Brandon (Khesania), Chetara, Travis Jr., Travis IV, Jaquai, Michael, Maurice, Nakeeta, Roosevelt, Christina (Darius), Matthew, Lakeisha (Dwayne) and Mercedes (Tyrice); thirty-eight great-grandchildren; her siblings Joe Jackson, Earl (Ethel) Jackson, Anitha Jackson and Charlene McCray; sisters-in-law, Naomi Jackson, Jannie Jackson, Bertha Jackson; brothers-in-law, Willie Nash and Ray Wynn; special friend, Agene Stubbs; several nieces and nephews.
